BREAKING NEWS! I'm injured not stupid Podcast launches blog.

Hi my peeps out there!

It's Aaron soon to be host of I'm Injured Not Stupid Podcast.

I'll be launching I'm Injured Not Stupid Podcast in around four months.

My number one reason for doing this Podcast is to inspire all stroke and brain injured people around the world that doing something meaningful with your life after a stroke or brain injury is more than possible. You peeps can use your injury to make the planet a better place like me.

So I would like to challenge all my brother and sister stroke and brain injured people around the world to rise up any way you safely can and join me in making the planet a better place.

Yes, even after the cataclysmic life event called stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury, we can have once again, a strong sense of self worth. Because if you're like me, your stroke or TBI has violently stripped you of all your self worth.

Okay so here's my challenge.
If I being a half paralyzed, wheelchair bound stroke survivor with a speech deficit can put myself out there to the world and do a Podcast. You also can rise up with me and put yourself in that out of your comfort zone place.

By forcing ourselves to have to cope with the real world situations, I believe, than what the expert brain scientists say will begin to occur called Neuroplasticity.

More latter peeps! Stroke brain fatigue.

Stay awesome!
Aaron your friendly neighborhoods stroke survivor.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

BLOG WARNING!

I am an author in training (Aaron's Stroke Chronicles) finish some day, large emotional words may be used. 100% genuine but now flow naturally from my stroke brain.

Peeps!

The most amazing recovery event has occurred since my stroke September 17th 2010.

Most of my stroke survivor peeps and I know them as Neural Pathways. Most significant is the human brain's ability to heal itself. Yes peeps! Your brain can and will heal after a stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) This healing ability of the brain is called Neuroplasticity(learn more about Neuroplasticity)

What caused this Neuroplastic change to occur, is I am certain, was caused by me currently dealing with an extremely intelligent very successful businessman in the stroke survivor community.
(Can't divulge name at this time).
Together we are putting together a plan, that if it does everything we hope, will significantly and positively impact the stroke survivor community forever.

Dealing with him at first, he himself totally engaged in the present moment began to sense the disconnection within me. (My head was in the clouds basically).

He began to verbally shake me. Trying to wake me up by saying things like, focus, don't use such big words, (disconnected words) and more.

Knowing what I've learned about Neuroplasticity, I realize yesterday something significant had occurred in my damaged stroke brain. A Neural Pathway was finally connected after six long years.

I'm starting to engage in the here and now. Also known as the present moment.

Peeps my whole world looks and feels significantly and awesomely different.

More details later.

Sincerely,
Your friendly neighborhood stroke survivor,
Aaron

P.s. Deeply and from my core sorry to the family and friends I hurt during this disconnected time in my stroke recovery. I truly love and care for you all!

BREAKING NEWS STROKE SURVIVOR LIKE MODERN DAY JUNGLE BOOK

Hi planet earth!

It's Aaron your friendly neighborhood stroke survivor.

The reason I'm writing this Blog is because I was up crying all night realizing a truth about myself six years after surviving a major brain aneurysm and stroke.
(My story)

You see peeps, my stroke did something to me I haven't realized until now.

I have been completely detached from the reality and lost my ability to deal with and correctly communicate with my fellow human beings.

I recently had an incredible opportunity of working on a gigantic global project with some extremely incredible people. After some minor conflicts and me 100% convinced it was their issues I had a realization last night I hadn't seen in myself since my stroke. For me it was extremely emotional.

I fully am aware it's not them but 100% me!

OMG! Extremely emotional.

Separated for six years and not having the cognitive ability to deal with reality and to cope with the day to day of life on planet earth, I became aware "I fully lost my ability to function at the higher cognitive level required to effectively relate and communicate with other human beings.

I wrongfully have had conflicts with family members. 100% Convinced  in my now separated brain, it was their issue when the reality was IT WAS 100% ME! Great! Crying now! brb

I feel just like boy in movie Jungle Book and unable to relate and engage with his own species!

Break time peeps! More later.

Stay awesome!

WAM = What's on Aaron's Mind

Hi peep!
I'm feeling compelled to write directly to you.
Look I am no super stroke survivor like you may think!
Being wheelchair bound for 6 years I battle chronic pain every day!
I spaz out on my family regularly! (thank God they truly love me)!
I constantly run into walls being yelled at to pay attention. Normally I spaz and tell them I am trying.
I'm half paralyzed.
Have a terrible speech deficit.
And thousands of other things!
See peeps! I'm like each one of you!
I was just given a gift through a near death experience.
(Message me if you want to read it)?
A divine gift to help you. You can feel the divine energy now I know it!
More later!
LOVE EACH ONE OF YOU WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!
REMEMBER! YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH! AND WORTH SOMETHING FOR YOU ARE A STROKE SURVIVOR!
STAY AWESOME AND HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH!

WILL YOU GUYS HELP ME HELP STROKE SURVIVORS?

Hi DeVon, Oprah and T.D.!

I hope all things are going well!

I need your help so I can help stroke survivors worldwide.

Yesterday I had a very serious scare!

My outdated computer that I use to help and inspire 1,000's of stroke survivors around the world with began to malfunction and crash.

As you know, I've been given a divine gift through a near death experience, a supernatural love to the core of who I am as a man, for stroke survivors around the world.

My computer is the tool I use to help them worldwide. So when my computer began to show signs of crashing I became extremely upset.

My computer is my only link I have to inspire and share with my stroke survivors, the deep love God has given me.

My computer is severely outdated and is starting to give indicators a major crash is imminent.

Please consider helping me out by buying me a stable current technology computer please.

I ask not for me, but rather for my 1,000's of stroke survivors around the world that look to me on a daily basis for hope and inspiration.

Please! For them! My stroke survivors mean everything to me. They need me.

As you know, I also being a stroke survivor and unable to work since September 2010  I have no money.

I can only hope your human kindness will shine in a dark world.

If you'll help me, here are the basic things I need in a PC.

  • Operating System - Windows
  • I do all my graphics in publisher so storage should be robust.
  • Fairly fast.
  • Programs - All Microsoft such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint and so on.
  • 3rd Party software - Adobe PDF creator and Adobe PDF Reader.
  • Mmmmmmm great! My stroke brain can't remember anything else sorry.
If you'll help me shoot me an email and I'll give you all my shipping and contact information.

With a sincere love and respect,

IF YOU WERE TO ASK ME WHAT'S THE #1 HARDEST THING ABOUT STROKE SURVIVAL?

So I'm just going to share a burden on my heart that woke me at around 2am this morning.

If you were to ask me what is the worst thing about stroke survival you might expect me to say it is being wheelchair bound for over 6 years or maybe it's having a 1/2 paralyzed body or maybe it's being partially blind or maybe you might expect me to say it's my speech/hearing and comprehension loss or maybe it's my chronic pain or maybe the stripping of my self worth as a man, husband and father among a thousand other things ....... NO!

It's the utter catastrophic decimating effect stroke survival has on your family whom you love with every fiber of who you are as a man.

For as fast as lightning strikes not only does the stroke survivor's life cataclysmically and dramatically change forever, but I think what kills me the most inside is the terrible suffering my stroke survival causes my family!

Yup! That's it!

That is the #1 thing!

From the now 100% helpless eyes of the stroke survivor, you only can sit helplessly by as your family is violently plunged into a life of absolute and utter struggle.

I would have to say the utter financial ruin stroke survival causes is the absolute worst. You go from making a decent living to trying to survive on the stroke survivors disability that is below current poverty line.

I personally have seen my wife Rebecca of 25 years forced to sell her heirloom wedding ring just to cover the house mortgage for several months.

I have seen the bank repossess your wife's only form of transportation.

I sit helpless as my son Ryan gives up moving out and chooses to stay and financially take care of his mom and dad so they have a house to live in. Knowing that if he moves out to pursue his own life his mom and dad would lose their home and everything they own.

Yes this is the hardest effect of stroke survival.

I have only begun to scratch the surface of the cataclysmic effect stroke survival has on a family.

Please peeps! Connect with me on my Aaron's Stroke Chronicles Facebook Page and share your thoughts.

2am HEARTFELT BURDEN PLEASE READ DEVON, OPRAH, T.D. AND JOEL

Hi my brothers and sister,

It's Aaron your friendly neighborhood stroke survivor lol.

Yes this is the hardest effect of stroke survival.

I have only begun to scratch the surface of the cataclysmic effect stroke survival has on a family.

Oprah, DeVon, T.D. Jakes and Joel I ask you for financial help, not for myself but for my amazing family whom I love with every fiber of who I am as a man. Without their unfailing love for me, I would not be the stroke survivor I am today.

Please come quick! The people whom I love from my very core are truly suffering and it's ripping my heart out.

With powerful love energy,
Aaron Avila
